About the project

A tool made for HvA's teacher-researchers to assist them in their reflections about their career and goals, as well as learn about resources that are available within the HvA to reach those goals 🚀

I was the Creative Technologist assigned to work on the design and prototyping of the second version of this project, in collaboration with the partners, from September 2024 until January 2025. What started out as a physical prototype created by trainees made it to a totally revamped form, with additional features and a digital version of the tool.

Summary of tasks

Conceptualisation

• Research what has been done in the previous version delivered by trainees
• Rapid prototype paper iterations for the physical version
• Sketch on paper and Figma concept ideas and routes for the next version

Development

• Rapid prototype iterations in Unity for the digital version
• Reiterate on each iteration of the prototype based on our findings and observations (As you'll be able to see in the pictures going from recent to older).

Facilitation

• Run user testing to test the framework and experience with the target users
• Organise, run and debrief meetings and sessions with partners
